Persian Gulf University Information Security Statement

 Information Security Statement is published in order to protect the network and information of the Persian Gulf University against any internal and external threats and provide a secure environment for users to access public information and benefit from electronic facilities and services.

In this document, the implementation and security controls on the Internet and all sections of the portal of the Persian Gulf University are collected and over time, by making changes in the structure or development of different sections, the mentioned points are edited or some items are added to them.

In this regard, the Persian Gulf University is committed to observing the following issues: 

• Implementation of information security management system according to the requirements of standards
• Provide the necessary infrastructure to prevent any cyber threat
• Check the security of software and applications and web services
• Identify and accurately define user access levels
• Training and informing security tips for employees related to cyberspace:
  • Report on theft, destruction and disclosure of specific information of Persian Gulf University
  • Use strong usernames and passwords to enter different sections of the portal
  • Failure to disclose confidential information
  • No unauthorized changes to the data and documents of the Persian Gulf University
• Prompt response to information security incidents and incidents
• Reduce the risk of misuse of information and resources and prevent the loss of critical data
• Development of goals and executive plans and control over the achievement of goals in the field of information security by the relevant departments
