Persian Gulf University Hosts Futsal Tournament for Government Employees in Bushehr Province

The futsal tournament for employees of executive bodies in Bushehr Province commenced on Saturday, September 5, at the Persian Gulf University (PGU) Sports Hall, coinciding with Iran’s Government Week.

According to the Public Relations Office of Persian Gulf University, the opening ceremony was attended by Mehdi Bahramzadeh, Deputy Director for Sports at the Bushehr Province General Directorate of Youth and Sports; Mohammad Hossein Zahedifard, Head of the Provincial Public Sports Association; and Hamid Bordideh, Director of Physical Education at Persian Gulf University, along with veteran football figures from the province.

The tournament is being held with the aim of promoting public sports and enhancing vitality among employees. The champion team will earn a place in the national futsal tournament for employees of executive bodies.
