Notice to Graduate Students (Master’s and Ph.D. Levels)

Pursuant to Circular No. 1/120933 dated September 29, 2026, issued by the Deputy for Education of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, and with the aim of facilitating the graduation process, the following provisions are hereby announced:

1. Extension of the Thesis/Dissertation Defense Deadline
The deadline for defending the thesis/dissertation of students who, pursuant to the Integrated Educational Regulations or decisions of the Special Cases Review Councils, were granted permission to continue their studies in the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year has been extended until the end of October 2026.

2. Registration Status
Students covered by this provision are not required to extend their registration for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year. No tuition fees will be charged for this period.

3. Graduation Date
The graduation date of students covered by this provision will be recorded as September 22, 2026.

4. Military Service Status
Male students who face issues related to military service are required to extend their registration for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year. However, this semester will not be recorded on their academic transcripts, and their graduation date will remain September 22, 2026.
