Discrete Event System Simulation I am highly interested in modeling and analysis of discrete event systems using simulation. Three-phase, Component-based, and Object Oriented Simulation are of my special research Interests. OR in Public Sector I am also interested in the applications of Operation Research in Public Sector. Health Care, Waste Management, Vehicle Routing Management, Crises Management, Transportation are some of examples. It includes the practice of meta-heuristics such as Genetic Algorithm, Taboo Search, and Simulated Annealing in a specific case study. Petri Nets and Coloured Petri Nets I am interested in the application of Petri nets (PNs), especially Coloured Petri Nets (CPNs) in modeling and analysis of Discrete Event Dynamic Systems (DEDSs). I have published papers on the subject. Please do check my publications from the left hand side menu. I normally use the tool Design/CPN and CPN Tools Box for CPNs. The tool is quite powerful and absolutely fantastic. | Graduate Courses ·Advanced Management Information Systems ·Advances in Operational Research ·Simulation ·Queuing Theory Undergraduate Courses ·Project Management and Control ·Operational Research Part 3 ·English Language for Management ·Management Information Systems ·System Analysis and Design | Chair and Review ·Organizer and the chair of BPCME'01, The OR43 Conference, Bath, UK, 2001.
